In this machine Seifert claimed a Spitfire from the four Squadron Debden Wing for his 35th Abschuss. The 65th and 111th Sqn RAF. lost six fighters over the Ostend area with another three seriously damaged, all without loss for the first Gruppe.

In all the Gruppe claimed a total of eíght Spitfires during the clash, althoug it was only Hauptmann Johannes Seiferts claim that was not confirmed.
