Profile No 39. Messerschmitt Bf 110 E-1

Flown by an Oberfeldwebel Willi Dibowski, 5./ZG 1 Wespe, Konstantinovka/USSR. 13 July 1942

On this day, Willi Dibowski was shot down by Soviet fighters and had to belly land his machine. The Bf 110 was an effective weapon for strafing reatreating enemy columns. I/ZG 1 carried our numerous low-level attacks this day, and claimed 33 moror vehicles, four horse drawn carriages, a locomotive, an anti-tank gun, and one AAA position.

My comment: I´ve got this information from Christer Bergströms Black Cross Red Star 3 Book. However Demitri Vrettos recived information from John Vasco that Willy told him in an interview that he in fact was was hit by Soviet flak and had to belly land his machine.

So thanks to John and Demitri I could set things strait, thanks a lot guys! Here is the correct version:
