When I was in contact with Hans Hermann in the late nineties and after I have sent him the original of Blue 11 he came back to me asking for a refined version of the Bf 109 G-2. Asking me "if it was possible to remove the name Hilde on the engine cowling" the name of his war time Norwegian girlfriend, thereby creating a profile that he thought was OK to show for his beloved wife, more than 50 years later.

Note that this Blue 11 is an updated and refined version of my 1998 original profile, now using one unknown photo that I did not have access to back then.
