Not much is know of the pilot of this machine, Rolf Prigge others than he arrived from IV JG 27 to 4 Staffeln in JG 7 during December 1944.

Flying the revolutionary turbin-jäger, the Me 262 he scored his first Jet-kill this day, on 17 December 1944 when over Aachen-Karpen he downed a USAAF P-47 Thunderbolt.

His next followed on 25 February 1945 when a Spitfire fell before his guns West of Osnabrück, possible the Spitfire MK IX flown by P/O W Cortis from 74 Sqn.

His last three confirmed victories was claimed over VVS aircraft on the Eastern Front during March 1945. His total is quoted from these five abschusse to other sources that claim that he reached a total of 16 victories before the war ended.
